Welcome to the Wiki
This is the starting point for anyone new to the Compass Consulting wiki, whether you're looking something up for the first time or want a refresher on how everything is organized.
What is this wiki?
This wiki is Compass Consulting's shared knowledge base. It brings together documentation on our infrastructure, best practices, and the technical processes we follow across client engagements.
How to use it
- Sidebar navigation - pages are grouped by topic. Start broad, then narrow down to the specific page you need.
- Search - the search bar at the top is usually faster than browsing. Try a few different keywords if your first search doesn't turn up what you expect.
- Language switcher - this wiki is maintained in both English and Spanish. Use the toggle to switch; if a page hasn't been translated yet, you'll land on whichever version is available.
Search before you ask
Before pinging someone with a question, try the search bar first. A lot of "quick questions" already have an answer written down here.
What's in Getting Started
This section covers everything you need before contributing to or relying on the wiki:
- Writing documentation - what makes a page good, what belongs here, and how to format it.
- Contributing - the technical process for adding or editing pages: cloning the repo, branching, committing, and opening a pull request.
Something missing or wrong?
If you spot outdated information or a gap, you can fix it yourself. See Contributing for an in-depth look into how.
